You Serious Michael Young?

So apparently this little boy in Texas was crying because he found out his favorite baseball player, Michael Young, was rumored to be leaving the Rangers. The video of the boy crying hits youtube, Young sees it and sets up a meeting between the two. Which begs the question, are you serious? Is it that easy nowadays to meet your hero? Young sees this kid crying and automatically gives him the satisfaction of meeting him? Hey Young, I bet there are a bunch of other kids out there who love you and actually keep track of the trillions of baseball stats out there for you. It was a bad move because now you gotta think Young has to stay, right? I mean if he leaves Texas he basically just dick teased this boy with a meet and greet and then bounced, which would probably devastate the lil rascal.

Now don't get me wrong, i'm not hatin on this kid for crying. We all cried about trivial sports figures or games when we were young. When I was 8 years old I cried when MJ beat the Jazz in the 1998 finals. Why was I rooting for the Utah Jazz? Fuck if I know... maybe it's because me and the rest of the NBA were tired of seeing MJ rip the hearts outta the likes of Stockton and Malone. So yeah, lil Uncle Sub cried. But I wasn't flown out to Utah to learn how to shoot the perfect J with Jeff Hornacek. Then again my mother didn't heartlessly throw me to the wolves that is the entire viewership of youtube. This mom is ruthless. I guess the only natural thing to do when your baby boy is bawling is to grab the camera and put on your best Christopher Nolan impersonation. Something tells me she'll be receiving an invitation to the Player Haters Ball.
