Conference Tournament Predictions~ The Show

Unlike the Uncle, I am not running on fumes so each one of my conference tourney predictions will be analyzed, well thought out, and 100% correct. So thanks for the setup Babu, but I am about to spike you like Misty Mae Treanor. Read em and weep.

ACC- Duke
I agree with the Uncle on this one. UNC is a bunch of young bucks that were impressive in their win on Saturday , but top to bottom Duke is 10 times better. I still love Duke as a National Championship favorite and I fully expect them to get their shit together come Dancing time. In fact, I don't like the Tar Heels at all this year in the ACC's and I am predicting Boston College to square off against the Dukies in the finals. BC's been hot lately, and for teams that shoot the 3 well and frequently, it's a good thing to be hot...

Big 12- Texas
Texas has stumbled a bit of late, but they just got a nice win on the road in Baylor and I like their road in the Tournament. If I am Kansas, I am seriously worrying about that matchup with K-State in the semi's because Coach Martin is going to have LT eyes in Any Given Sunday. Even if Kansas gets to the final, Texas already handled them in Allen Fieldhouse so I am gonna Hook Them Horns here.

Big East- Pitt
Yea St. John's is playing on their home court, but last I checked they have only sold about 2,000 tix to their fanbase which means the other Big East schools are flocking to the Mecca like its the Royal Wedding. Too much pressure on a team that has not played with this much expectations in ages. I like Pitt against either Georgetown (minus Chris Wright) or UConn (a mess right now) then riding that to the finals. Hey Uncle watch out for Syracuse against your Johnnies because the Cuse always perform under the bright lights and I am pretty sure Gerry McNamara is on those sidelines so thats enough for me. Quick bit: I like Cincinnati to make a run, playing well with a passion

Big 10- Wisconsin
The Badgers are probably furious with their latest effort against the Buckeyes, so I smell redemption. Also, Diebler was just a freak during that game...not buying it. Wisconsin has all the tools to win this and make a serious run in the Dance. Jordan Taylor is a stud and I would trust him with my life. It will be a Ohio St/Illinois Michigan State/Wisconsin semi with Illinois and Wisconsin advancing to the final. Lock it up.

Pac 10- Washington
Something about this team I just love since watching them make a mini-run in last years Dance. They played Zona great during D-Will's coming out party and I think they have the tools to get this down. Winner of their matchup against Zona takes the Pac-10. UCLA, suck my dick. Your not winning.

SEC- Kentucky

Three straight wins against SEC elite (Florida, Vandy, Tennessee) the Wildcats should squeak this one out. Vandy coach Kevin Stallings looks to much like Kevin from The Office to win a basketball tournament. Although Kevin did have a nice J in that one episode. I digress...
