The Morning After

After taking a night to think about the weekends festivities I'm minding my own business listening to Pandora and on comes Joe Nichols "gimme that girl" and with the tournament never leaving my skull I begin relating the teams that remain as those who still look good the morning after. After the makeup is gone, after their group of attractive friends who they beat out do not matter, when you have to make a decision to sneak out or give an awkward morning kiss. I think at this point VCU, Butler, UConn, and Tucky are those teams deserving the dignity of that morning kiss, despite the awkwardness.

VCU has no makeup on, no conference to help their cause, no flashy player the nation falls in love with, no coach with catchy pep phrases or colored suits to draw attention, its just in that simply class black dress dancing without a care in the world, because VCU literally had nothing to lose

Butler is just wearing a t-shirt and an old pair of jeans. They were in the Finals last year, had a tuff beginning to their season but proved to be comfortable just as that old pair of jeans always is, their coach a simpleton who does not attract the spotlight and continues to have success

UConn is a little different then our first 2. When your prowling the bar they catch your eye awkwardly, maybe they rock a different style then your accustom to, maybe a little more punk when your a little preppy. When you first wake up you are nervous what you might see laying next to you. fortunately for you they pass and you are not looking ahead to a week of ridicule from your buddys, relying on 1 player rarely leads to the final four but UConn has proved themselves worthy of that morning smooch

Tucky with Greasy Coach Cal one would think is all makeup with their NBA line-up last yr and Cal's love for the off-court drama and spotlight. Instead Josh Harrellson is a super, he has gone toe to toe with the country's best big men. To me Tucky is the Jessica Biel of women, they have Harrellson who is by no means a looker with a big build but then Knight provides the flash to a big body

The teams left have proved not to disappoint the morning after so gimme that team thats still dancin around like a fool
