Georgetown's Chris Wright Breaks Hand

Won't be using that hand anytime soon
This is a huge blow to the Hoyas, and will most likely prevent them from making any big run come Tournament time. Although it hasn't been announced how long he will be out for, I can't imagine him coming back anytime soon. It's a broken hand, emphasis on the broken. Granted, it is his left hand which happens to be the non-shooting hand for Wright, but are you gonna tell me that as a point guard you don't want Wright to dribble the ball with his left?

The most damaging part of this injury is that Wright is the undisputed leader of this Hoyas club. Although maybe not as talented as Austin Freeman, Wright still is the second leading scorer on the team with 13.1 a game while serving as the floor general. The guy, in my opinion, is the latest version of former NC State stud Julius Hodge because it seems as if Wright has been playing on Georgetown for the past 8 years. You know, the type of guy who contributes during all 4 of his years which makes it seem like he has been around forever. Regardless, Wright may be no AI, but he was the best point guard the Hoyas had going for them.
